Rock Pool Beach!

Splish! Splash! Splosh!
OMG!
The water is so COLD!
Me and my friends Courtney and Leija were happily swimming around the rock pools of Mirangi Bay.
When we arrived at Mirangi Bay we settled down by a tree half in the shade and half in the sun.
While Leija and Courtney went to the changing rooms.
I got my towel and whipped LEIJA!!!!

Leija was bleeding!
So we left her there.

Her mum kicked her in the head and punched her in the stomach.
Everyone was laughing, even Leija was!

We all went home, but leija was still in the changing room.

Science Experiments

My science group the Secret Scientists did 2 experiments, Fizzy Fruit Drink and Baked Ice-Cream.

The first one we did was Fizzy Fruit Drink.

We had to squeeze orange juice into a cup then and Baking Soda then Sugar.

I spilt most of my orange juice so the group next to me donated some lemon juice for me to use.

The drink tasted HORRIBLE!

My next experiment was Baked Ice-Cream!

First we had to separate the yolk from the white bit of the eggs.

We had to mix the 3 egg whites with sugar to make a meringue for like half an hour!

Then after morning tea we put ice-cream on a cookie, smothered it in meringue then put it in the oven for about 5 minutes.

After the meringue had slightly browned we took it out and ate it.

It was DELICIOUS!

I really enjoyed the Baked Ice-Cream but I loathed the malicious Fizzy Fruit Drink.

BOOM!BANG!CRACK!

Ooooh! Aaaaah! OMG!

Wow that was big!

On Sunday the 7th of November everyone poured into the Trust Stadium and fighted to be first in line so they could get the best seats for the one the only West Auckland FIREWORKS SHOW!

"Let's sit there, let's sit here." That's all I could hear coming out of my dad's mouth.

VROOM!

"Look there are two people on motor bikes and I think they are going to attempt to do a trick in the air."

Later on the dogs ruled the show when they came out and started to jump through RINGS OF FIRE!

You're probably thinking "oh no the dogs are going to burn to a crisp!" But it's okay the dogs got sprayed with water before the act.

Next the band of Bag Pipes came and performed, and man were they good!

NOW FOR THE GRAND FINNALE! THE BEST FIREWORKS IN THE COUNTRY!

BOOOM!  BANG!  CRACK!

OOOOH!  AAAAH!  WOOW!

And then the Fireworks finished and everyone thought they were amazing and thrilling and were all happy that they had come.

University On Wheels

I get a letter... WHAM! And just like that I am of to university! Well I guess not real university, but something a whole lot better... UNIVERSITY ON WHEELS! It's my first day of university ( NOT ) and I am so excited! My first session was Word Wizardry. I learn't alot about an ancient language and also where the word Ketchup came from ( if you were wondering it comes from Japan)! At the end of class we got to touch old pottery! Next session Forensic Science. At the start I had to put a puzzle together ( wich was not easy ). Then we had to find out who stole the giant cookie, there were clues like notes, pens and fingerprints.
Last session Secrets And Lies. First of all we learn't all about the moon & the ocean and how they work together. Then Ken Ring showed us some card tricks. And last but not least mind tricks.
I had a BLAST at UNI on wheels and I think you should all give it a try!

Cat In Bin? So Not Right!

Mary Bale has been caught on CCTV dumping an innocent tabby cat named Lola in a rubbish bin!
This unnecessary criminal act has been heard all over the world and the lady responsible as been charged with two counts of animal cruelty, has been charged $250 and is not allowed to keep any pet of any kind.
 I mean seriously who would dump a poor cat in a bin? I know someone who would and they already have. This poor little cat was trapped in a claustrophbic bin for about 15 HOURS! Lola was rescued by her owners and was in perfect shape, but quite hungry and thirsty.
Mary has begged foregiveness for her moment of madness.
So why did this lady throw a cat in a bin?
I think she did because she was going through a tough time and was taking her anger out on the cat.

Fire Fighters Visit

FIRE FIRE FIRE!
Just kidding. OMG actual fire fighters came to our school on Wednesday 20th of October!
It all started when me and my friend Courtney were asked by Mrs Edwards Norf to go up to the office and wait for the visitors ( the fire fighters ) to come to the office.
We were waiting for like 15 minutes, but wait what's that... OMG its a fire truck!
We were repeating STOP but it didn't and then we thought it better no go into the car park, but oh no it did!
We walked down to the car park and greeted our visitors, while Courtney took the fire fighters Andrew and Jim up to our class I helped Mrs Edwards Norf open that gate to the courts so the fire truck could park there.
The fire truck was so big, cool and RED!
I went back up to class so the lesson could begin. First fire fighter Andrew showed a video on what happens if you don't put a candle in a special place away from curtains. Then he told us a story of a little girl called Sophie and what she did when her house was on fire.
YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS! OMG we got to control the POWERFUL water hose, its nothing like your ordinary garden hose! But then I suppose it is because they both shoot out water... BUT NOT AS POWERFUL! After we all had a turn with the hose we sat on the stairs and Jim go on the roof and got out this weird tube looking thing and sprayed it all over the cars in the car park! HEHEHE don't tell!
Bye! Nooooooooo! Why did they have to leave! Oh well the fire fighters had to leave but we all had a BLAST!
